Selma’s ADRS office now has a new address.
The Vocational Rehabilitation and Children’s Rehabilitation offices in Selma moved Dec. 7 to a newly renovated existing location at 720 Alabama Ave. – in downtown and just across the Edmund Pettus Bridge.
The facility triples the space of the office’s former location on Citizen’s Parkway, which was shared with Easter Seals of Alabama, and is good news for ADRS consumers in west central Alabama.
ADRS Rehabilitation Specialist Mark Vosel, who is responsible for the department’s facilities, said the 12,644-square-foot facility includes many modern amenities.
“The new space is split 65 percent CRS and 35 VR,” Vosel said. “The CRS clinic space features an audiology booth, a modern exam and interview room, and an excellent parent resource area. VR has a new conference room in addition to the new office spaces.”
