A team of ADRS staff members has begun the daunting task of reviewing the accessibility of all 48 of the Career Center’s main and satellite offices around the state.

The group is comprised of Governor’s Office on Disability Executive Director Graham Sisson, Rehabilitation Technology Specialist Michael Papp, Rehabilitation Technology Specialist for the Deaf Daniel Lute, Blind Services Accessibility Specialist Jason Martin, and Technical Services Manager Tyler Mason. The five have visited seven sites thus far, assessing such things as wheelchair ramps; parking areas; entrance accessibility; building layout; signage; seats, tables, and countertops; elevators; pay and public use telephones; rest rooms; and drinking fountains.

Sisson said the goal is to complete reviews of each site by the end of FY16.
