The Tuscaloosa VR office invited local business leaders, educators, friends and family to join them in congratulating area seniors for their many accomplishments at the 2nd Annual Tuscaloosa ADRS Graduation Party.
Thirty-two seniors were recognized at the party, where they also had an opportunity to meet representatives of several community rehabilitation programs who discussed their services.

Two speakers formally addressed the group. ADRS Business Relations Consultant Willie Johnson provided tips to the seniors on how to impress prospective employers, while musician Adam Guthrie wrote and performed a song to commemorate the occasion.
“This event was a lot of fun, but it also helps mentally prepare these graduating seniors for the next step in their lives,” said Reese Grantham, senior rehabilitation counselor. “I think it was an overwhelming success!”
Held at the Tuscaloosa County School System central office, the event was made possible with a $500 donation from the United Methodist Women of the First United Methodist Church in Tuscaloosa.
